Description
The house is situated in the country, surrounded by luscious green fields, woods, meadows and hills. This typically Tuscan landscape is situated a few miles from several towns of historical and architectural interest. During the summer luxuriant hedges of lavender and rosemary bushes perfume the air, squirrels run along the tree branches and at night the only sound to fill your ears is the chat of the nightingale song.
Situated not too far from Pisa-airport, where several airlines (RYANAIR, MY TRAVEL LITE….) operate with low-cost daily flights, the accommodation offers homely comforts, the peacefulness and tranquillity of the country, and at the same time is situated a short drive from the most interesting Tuscan towns
The bright, comfortable bedrooms are furnished with refined taste, lace curtains and bed linen. Period pieces of furniture are to be found all round the house. Some rooms have high quality wooden flooring, others have typical Tuscan red bricks "Cotto di Impruneta". Every bedroom is en suite and sport period mirrors.
Our guests can enjoy a plentiful organic breakfast (Tuscan, English, Continental or Vegetarian) adorned with silver cutlery. The lady of the house bakes delicious cakes, home made biscuits, and also makes tasty ice-creams and jams from the organic fruit trees in the grounds. They can enjoy delicious “bruschette“, freshly home baked bread seasoned with salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil from the olive trees around the house. A wide assortment of tea is served and you will find on the table Carob honey along with various local specialities of cheeses, prosciutto and salami as per continental customs. For the vegetarian breakfast we use the products of our vegetable garden. In the orchard and garden we don't use any chemical ant parsitic treatments.
